WWWL: 2019 Squad Set

The annual auction for the Weekend Warriors Wannabe League (NL-only) took place last night and is one of my favorite events of the season. This draft is highly-competitive and as in my AL-only is a truly deep league with a six-man reserve-squad and a six-man Minor League roster. Here’s the final squad for this season’s […]

PFFBL: 2019 Roster Set

I have been in my AL-only ultra-roto league for eight years. This past weekend the Positive Friction Fantasy Baseball League had it’s annual auction. Keepers in this league are set with auction values and contracts and I kept ten players out of a maximum of twelve. I had $154 entering the auction which maintained that […]

WWWL: Pre-Auction Thoughts

This is my eighth season in the Weekend Warrior Wannabee’s NL-only Fantasy Baseball League. MLBTheShow18: Online Ranked Scripted?

Finally got a few minutes to broadcast the new MLBTheShow18 on PS4.  I look forward to this game more than any others every year but this year seems REALLY scripted.

Had a pretty dominating day on the field in MLBTheShow17 ranked play although the first one didn’t come easy. Watch the ab’s at 2h52m40s and 3h9m. Called a shot. Called a quit.

MLBTheShow17: No-No Interrupted

This is the second time this week that someone’s quit while I’ve taken a no-hitter past the seventh in MLB The Show.

Sold: 2014 Monte Harrison Blue Refractor Auto 21/150

I still buy Brewers prospect cards from time to time. Just sold this Monte Harrison to a collector for almost double. I like Harrison a lot but there was a time in the last couple of years where I wondered if this was wasted money. Harrison found his way in the mid-minors and has re-emerged […]

MLB The Show 17 – How To Dismantle An Opponent

MLB The Show is the console game I put the most time into each year.  I’ve played thousands of hours of MLB The Show and average anywhere between 1000 to 1500 contests played each year.  I’m not great at every sports game and struggled mightly with Madden Football in recent years. But 25-years of organized baseball in my past gives me an edge. I’m especially proud when I’m able to use pitch sequencing to setup a hitter.
